Governor Visits Paslin in Historic Meet and Greet
WARREN, MI (April 18, 2016)–Paslin, a member of Wanfeng Technology Group, hosted a Meet and Greet at the Hoover Road facility in Warren to commemorate their acquisition by Wanfeng and to highlight their new training center. Many government officials were in attendance including Governor Rick Snyder, Congresswoman Candice Miller, Senator Steven Bieda, and Vice Consul General Yong Wang.
Governor Snyder, Congresswoman Miller, Senator Bieda, Vice Consul General Wang, as well as Joshua Hundt from the MEDC shared a few words commemorating the occasion. Also on the agenda was Mr. Tommy Wu, Wanfeng Jinyuan CEO and Paslin Chairman of the Board who confirmed Wanfeng’s commitment to support Paslin’s continued growth locally, expand the business in the NAFTA region and explore development in the Asian market.
The event provided an opportunity to meet the executives from Paslin and Wanfeng Technology Group and to tour Paslin’s training center which was made possible by a generous grant from the MEDC.
Included in the tour was two apprentices who are a part of Paslin’s unique apprenticeship program which is supported by Macomb County Community College.
Paslin’s tremendous growth over the past two years has provided over 325 jobs. Wanfeng’s support of Paslin’s continued growth locally brings the anticipation of over 150 jobs being created in the State of Michigan in 2016.
